We trace our roots back to 1999, when we launched our HedgeIndex Main Index. Our index harnesses a unique dataset comprising several thousand hedge funds we've carefully assembled for over a quarter of a century. The HedgeIndex Main Index aims to provide an accurate representation of overall hedge fund industry performance. It is asset-weighted across constituents, regardless of whether they are open to new investments.
